Painting, crafting and creative expression is very important to me and we encourage that in our home.  I love to read and have been an avid reader since Jr high.  Although I will read an ocassional romance, my favorite genre is fantasy and sci fi, so much so that I refuse to part with any of my Dune or Pern series (that I have had since high school) or any other book who's story catches my fancy and holds my attention.  I also read a lot of self help and have been enjoying Cheri Huber immensely.
